      Albannach is a high-energy Scottish cultural band, named from the Scots Gaelic for "Scottish," known for theiraggressive, percussive Celtic music featuring pipes, tribal bass drums, and bodhráns, led by champion piper Donnie MacNeil and bassist/vocalist Jamesie Johnston, sharing Scottish heritage through powerful performances at Highland games and festivals. Formed in Glasgow in 2005, they blend traditional sounds with a modern, powerful delivery, often including a didgeridoo player (DidgeriDrew) for a unique sonic texture, creating an immersive cultural experience with their "primal drumming" and "precise piping".

      SYR (pronounced "sire") is ahigh-energy American Celtic folk rock band from South Carolina known for blending traditional Celtic sounds with a harder, modern edge, drawing inspiration from Celtic myths and history for songs about love, battle, and victory, making them popular at Celtic festivals with their powerful, festival-ready performances. Led by siblings Kyle and Laurel MacCallum, they feature vocals, guitar, percussion, drums, bass, and fiddle in a style described as "metal acoustic" or epic Celtic rock.

    • First Coast Highlanders

      The First Coast Highlanders is an all-volunteer Highland bagpipe band based in Clay County, Florida.  The band, formed in May 2009 and formerly known as the Clay County Sheriff's Office Pipes and Drums, is Clay County's premiere pipe and drum band.

      We are a performance and entertainment band, a teaching organization, and a cultural group.  We are community based and promote Celtic culture through music. Our goal is to encourage and support the Celtic culture in our community by providing instruction to anyone interested in learning the Great Highland bagpipes or Highland drums.

      The band is the host band for the Northeast Florida Scottish Games and Festival and the St. Augustine Celtic Festival.  We participate in many community events in Clay, St. Johns, Duval, and Alachua counties.
